  • As an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, I teach a comprehensive childbirth class. I currently offer a 6-week, hybrid series.

Learn about the stages of labor, comfort measures, common interventions, and how to ensure you get evidence-based care. One big part of evidence-based care is that it takes into account YOUR values and preferences.

Content note: the pre-recorded videos have some gendered language and discuss in depth the role of your partner.

  • “Kimmi was balanced, grounded and calm. She was well informed and shared research with us regarding our birth preferences. I felt like I could be myself with her as well as ask any questions– she was an excellent listener. When we needed guidance as we moved into an unexpected induction at 37 weeks, she was available and supportive.”

  • “Kimmi was patient, listened well, and validated every concern I had. She answered my questions thoroughly and explained options and techniques I wasn't aware of. She was also enthusiastic about educating on practices that I could implement before delivery, and instead of sending a video, she actually got upside down on her couch to demonstrate some exercises that I could try out!”

  • “I struggle with asking for help outright, and Kimmi gracefully pushed me to allow her to help in ways that she could tell I needed. As I got to know Kimmi and understood how eager she was to help in literally any way, I felt more free to ask for specific help during her postpartum visits, which was a huge relief to us.”

  • “She deeply listened to my partner and me, and we never felt judged or pressured in any way. She shared evidence-based information so that my partner and I could make the most informed decisions possible. During labor, Kimmi came prepared with a whole kit for comforting, including a TENS unit (which was incredible for easing pain of contractions). She also showed up with tacos and coffee when we were in the hospital during early labor, and she stayed with us for 17 hours, providing consistent encouragement and hands-on support, allowing my partner to take breaks, and documenting the experience so we could stay in the moment.”

  • “Postpartum, Kimmi came to our house and helped care for our newborn as well as anything we needed help with around the house. She was proactive and hands-on with home tasks, and was gentle and loving with our child. Overall, we found Kimmi to be dedicated to both her practice as well as being a grounded and sincere soul. We are grateful she was able to spend that special time with us.”
